Sicilians Satyrus serve us up a satisfyingly heavy dish of meat and potatoes doom metal. Will probably only satisfy the dietary requirements of doom metal addicts as there is nothing new to hear here, but it is pretty heavy and properly doom-laden, as it should be. Honest and unpretentious, so it's a thumbs-up from me.

Bucky Satyrus is going to blow you doom loving fiends out of the water with an intense trail of distorted fuzz, metal born blues, and smoke tinted groove. The super dank jams are built upon a foundation of heavy metal and walled with thick tones of sinister doom like 90s era Danzig meets Monolord in a secret fight club ring where nobody talks about fight club.

The Midnight Toker. I was buying the singles as they were being released and each one getting better as the came. This is a phenomenal debut, it ticks all the boxes. It has an eerie atmosphere filled with riffs, haunting vocals and I love the drumming throughout the album. Once I reached the track Stigma I kinda lost my shit on my earlier edited out comments. Its another standout for 2020. I'm gonna say it again, Its a favorite of mine on Bandcamp already. Favorite track: Stigma.

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
